Approach to Teaching & Learning:

Why You Like Teaching / Your Approach to Teaching & Learning

I have always been fascinated by the power of knowledge and how it can change people's lives. I believe that teaching is one of the most rewarding professions, as it allows you to have a direct impact on shaping the minds of future generations.

My approach to teaching is influenced by the teachings of ancient pedagogues such as Confucius and Socrates. Confucius believed that "Education breeds confidence. Confidence breeds hope. Hope breeds peace." I try to instill this belief in my students by creating a safe and supportive learning environment, where they feel confident enough to take risks, ask questions and express their opinions.

Similarly, Socrates believed that the role of the teacher was to facilitate learning rather than impose knowledge. I adopt a similar approach in my classes by encouraging my students to be active learners and think critically about what they are learning. I believe that this helps them to internalize and retain information more effectively.

In conclusion, teaching is a passion of mine, and I believe I can help my students develop a love for learning and equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life.

Hobbies:

My hobbies include reading science fiction novels, watching science fiction films and TV series, playing and following football, and cooking delicious meals.
