Professional Achievements & Experience:
I graduated from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in 2014 and headed over to London shortly after. I worked as a Translation Project Manager in a fast-paced office environment. I loved the hustle and bustle of the City but I was still craving for a new adventure. After a short spell in the City, I followed my heart and decided to pursue my dream of teaching English abroad. I moved to Suzhou in 2016 and have been working as an English Language Teacher since.
Approach to Teaching & Learning:
I like to make sure students learn to think critically and independently. Learning to decipher a passage of literature or how to manipulate the spoken and written word can be a powerful tool that will ensure students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential. It is an honour and privilege to play a role in that process.
I love running outdoors and regularly train for marathons and half marathons. I also enjoy travelling and learning about new languages and cultures.
