Professional Achievements & Experience:
2 years teaching experience in the United States in various life sciences and math courses.
2017, Virginia Association of Science Teachers annual conference: Lead presenter on using case studies in science education; co-presenter on using storytelling as a method to teach the history of science.
Approach to Teaching & Learning:
I like teaching science to nurture and provoke the natural curiosity that I firmly believe all students have. To do this, I enjoy presenting students with interesting case studies, fun facts, and intriguing questions and then challenging the students to create answers and solutions. I believe that my job as a teacher is not to tell students the truths of the world, but to guide them to their own discovery.
