Approach to Teaching & Learning:
My philosophy of teaching is to provide a classroom environment where students are encouraged to express their own ideas and participate in their education experience. Although individual responsibility is stressed on for learning in the class, I also provide explanation and guidance regarding subject matter. Additionally, the classroom is the space that provides the building blocks for group and partner interaction in the real world. I want my students to enjoy the interaction in my classroom and to be challenged by the intellectual discussion, especially about the subject.

There are lots reasons I like teaching, however, my top ten (10) are Doing the things you love while you’re at work; Making a difference: Knowing it’s the most important job; Young People are Wonderful; Local Community; Global Community of schools, teachers and students; The rewards of achievement; Every Day is Different; Strategic challenges and leadership opportunities;  Being your own boss; creating your own space; Learning, always learning, Teaching is learning and; The Holidays!

Hobbies:
I enjoy cooking, collecting cookbooks, shopping, traveling and attending the theatre/museums/galleries. Avid bookclubber with a fascination of tech and gaming gadgets while browsing many stationary aisles. While I might not possess any Olympic sporting talent, I love a good game of football and tennis, swimming, golf and cheering on a good match of any sport.
