Professional Achievements & Experience:
My passion for helping others to learn and get the best out of them can be tracked back to my college days when I was math professor Mittman’s assistant. And after that, I enjoyed teaching math to high school students for the past 18 years. I am an education professional who earned a Master of Science in technology in mathematical education and Bachelor's in mathematics, as well as held New York State Permanent Certificate in Mathematics (7-12) and has been employed by College Board as an AP Reader.
Approach to Teaching & Learning:
As a Mathematics teacher in both private and public schools in New York City and New York State, I have valuable experience in dealing with students of many different ages and backgrounds. I have been successful at accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all styles of learner, offering individualized and extracurricular support. I am an innovative individual who enjoy using different manipulatives and various forms of technology.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, dinning out and wine tasting. I am also an extensive traveler. I love to spend summertime across the world, stay at an Airbnb, and live like the locals.
