Professional Achievements & Experience:

Having had the privilege of teaching students across a variety of academic levels and settings, my professional experience has unequivocally evidenced that “slow and steady always wins the race.” Quality always triumphs over quantity, and creating a thoughtful, supportive environment fosters real growth. My greatest achievement is witnessing my students develop and master authentic real-world language skills in a low-anxiety setting where they feel confident and supported.

Approach to Teaching & Learning:

I believe that ‘Happiness Is Essential to Learning - As I teach, so do I learn’.

Nutty Professor Albert Einstein postulated “If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales”. Similarly, renowned linguist and language acquisition researcher, Dr Stephen Krashen concurs “Good methods are based on interesting stories where you get so interested in the story you forget it’s in another language. People acquiring a second language have the best chance for success through reading”.

Since many skills are necessary to become and remain an effective teacher, I am devoted to lifelong learning. We will never know everything about anything – especially something that we love!

Hobbies:

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, watching documentaries and the always-exciting adventure of exploring unknown destinations.
